Notes

Note 		At the age of sixteen Daniel migrated west, settling first at Mayport, Clarion County, where he built a mill. A few years later he returned home to report on the excellent opportunities in the largely unsettled lands he had traveled through and to. On this trip he married an then took his bride back west, moved to a new little unnamed hamlet which he called Geisttown but which later became Worthville in honor of General Worth, and built another mill and spent the rest of his life. Both Daniel and Elizabeth died at Worthville.
